ASCF is the Australian Delegate for the UIAA

The Role of the CICE 

Here are the primary responsibilities for the CICE representative in Australia.

1) Prepare the applications for International Licenses, so that Australian climbers can compete in World Cups, etc.

2) Prepare the paperwork for entry to these events at the correct time. Applications normally are distributed six weeks before the events and close a couple of weeks later. The CICE then distributes an information package to the climbers concerned.

3) Provide a conduit for Rules and information flow to the judges, routesetters and other officials in the country. They have an obligation to ensure that the rules of the UIAA are followed by any sanctioned event run under the auspices of the ASCF Inc.

4) Help select suitable events for recognition as Oceania events with international recognition.
