A long walk, but worth it. Some of the country's longest adventure routes.
LOCATION: 100km NW of Hobart in the Franklin-Gordon National Park. Be ready for a 25km walk in on a well-posted track.
ROCK: Quartzite
CLIMBING: Multipitch adventure stuff on moderate grades
WHEN TO GO: Feb-May is the best season, but be prepared for capricious weather at any time. There is snow in winter, but some people like it that way.
